On Saturday, November 11th, 2017, the Radcliffe Choral Society, internationally-renowned choral director Dr. Lynnel Jenkins, and high school students from across the Massachusetts area came together to celebrate the history and potential of treble choral music and collaborate in song. The festival aims to connect singers across ages and backgrounds and to find common ground through a shared passion for music.
Festival attendees participated in a combined group rehearsal and clinic with Dr. Jenkins, followed by workshops on musical development, college preparation, and wellness. A concert featuring performances by the Radcliffe Choral Society and combined repertoire featuring all festival participants capped off the event.
